WATCH: Video Captures Tornado in Aliceville, Alabama

An Alabama meteorologist captured a tornado touching down near Aliceville on Tuesday.

The tornado ripped the roofs off multiple buildings, as well as doling out other damage. 

Jill Gilardi of WBRC captured the footage.

She said the tornado touched down 10 miles southwest of Aliceville.

She later posted pictures showing damage in the region.

She called it “the most intense tornado I have ever witnessed.”

The tornado touched down around 6 p.m., reported WEAR-TV.

The storm downed trees and power lines, blocked roads, and damaged homes. No deaths were reported but there were some minor injuries.
