Turkish authorities have shot and killed two women who had attacked the police with guns and grenades in an ambush.
The attack occurred in the Bayrampasa district of Istanbul, Turkey’s capital. Security footage shows the women firing shots at a police van before aiming at the police station, NBC News reports.
The two women were chased and surrounded by the police, provoking a shootout that left the two women dead.
