Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas danced as Adam and Eve on Dancing With the Stars week 8.
The pair got bad scores in week 7, which they thought was unfair.
“The judges really didn’t like our dance, but I thought it was one of our best dances,” Sadie said in the video showing the rehearsals.
“Len doesn’t like things out of the box, he doesn’t like creativity … I’m not going to succumb to that,” Mark added.
“Because this is such an iconic story and it’s a message from the Bible, I feel a lot of pressure to get it right,” Sadie said.
“I think people are going to think it’s beautiful,” Mark said.
The dance went pretty well.
“I love your creativity, I love your passion, I love your commitment to this show,” judge Len Goodman said. “Well done.”
“I absolutely loved it,” said Julianne Hough. “There was a maturity we haven’t seen from you,” she told Sadie.
“Conflict, struggle, temptation, you portrayed all of this with such a level of maturity,” Bruno Tonioli told Sadie.
” The detail in the choreography, and the difficulty that he threw at you, it was just amazing how you did it.”
“You nailed it,” Carrie Ann Inaba said.
They got 9s from Carrie Ann and Len and 10s from Julianne and Bruno for 38 out of 40.
“That’s awesome … so happy,” Sadie said after the score came in.
