Peyton Manning may be retired from the NFL, but that doesn’t mean he’s out of the spotlight.
The five-time MVP was seen in Nashville at Winners—a popular honky tonk—and performed University of Tennessee favorite “Rocky Top” with country star Lee Brice and his band.
From the sound of it, it’s a good thing Peyton hasn’t announced any intentions to start a singing career. But at least he has no problem getting on stage and belting out a tune for all to hear.

Meanwhile, his former Denver team is having trouble replacing the future Hall-of-Famer.
Denver, which lost Brock Osweiler—the heir apparent to Manning—in free agency when he signed with the Houston Texans, is still in search of a capable replacement. The Broncos have brought in Mark Sanchez via trade but have hit a snag in a potential deal with San Francisco for Colin Kaepernick.
Peyton Manning + singing + Rocky Top.

Kaepernick, who lost his starting job to Blaine Gabbert mid-way through the 2015 season, is still with the 49ers and his $11.9 million salary for 2016 is now guaranteed. Meanwhile, Denver and San Francisco have haggled over how much—if any—the Niners should pay Kaepernick, should they trade him.
