In NBA preseason action, Lebron James plays his former team, the Miami Heat, in Brazil. Below are some notable numbers from the box score.

Lebron played 21 minutes and scored just 7 points on 2-8 shooting, though he did facilitate 8 assists.

Kyrie Irving did not play due to an ankle injury.

- Meanwhile, serving as the third leg of the big three, Kevin Love led the Cavs with 25 points on 4-5 shooting from three point rage and 9-12 shooting overall.

Anderson Varejao, Tristan Thompson, and Dion Walters all had strong showings as the immediate supporting cast of the big three, combining for 48 points on 20-32 shooting. None of them played over 30 minutes.

Chris Bosh led the Miami Heat with 19 points on 8-15 shooting. With Lebron gone and Wade aging, it may very well be Bosh who'll have to lead the Heat this year if they want to make a deep playoff push.

Finally, in case you missed it, below you can catch Lebron setting a pick for former teammate Norris Cole. Was it muscle memory? Or was it just for fun?
