Another dramatic win in Brazil.

Costa Rica beats Greece 5-3 in a penalty shootout in the World Cup.

Jubilant Costa Rican fans in Brazil celebrate their national football team’s victory.

“We are so happy. We have a great future ahead of us. We have players who will no longer just play in Costa Rica, but can join other leagues, and hope that Costa Rican football will get better every day because we fight for a good position which FIFA does not recognize, and we don’t steal from the referees like other Latin Americans, Mexico, and the rest of the world.”

The win puts the Central American nation into the quarterfinals for the first time in history.

“This triumph is something historical - never seen before. We are very pleased. It’s a party in the country, and we are all together going against the Netherlands. Long live Costa Rica!”

The streets of the Costa Rican capital were also packed with ecstatic fans who watched the match on large screens.

“With the ones God gave us, great selection. Lets go deep. Yes we can! Lets go as far as we can.”

Next, Costa Rica will play the Netherlands.

But for now, fans are expected to continue celebrations through the night.
