A cyclist riding on a frozen highway in eastern China survived a head-on collision with a freight truck, as seen in a dashcam video uploaded to Chinese social media. The incident occurred in the city of Wuhu, Anhui Province.

In the video, the man can be seen riding an electric bicycle when a massive red freight truck appears in the wrong lane. The man breaks, only to skid on the icy road and fall directly before the wheels of the truck, which drags him along for dozens of yards before stopping.

The man quickly crawled from under the truck, and later received medical treatment. He had one finger amputated.

Other Chinese dashcam videos show similarly miraculous cases of people being hit by motor vehicles and surviving with comparatively minor injuries.

In November 2014, a man crossing a road at night in Kunshan of Jiangsu Province was struck by a minivan and two other cars the space of seven minutes. The accident left him with a fractured leg and six broken ribs.

That May, an 83-year-old woman was walking near a warehouse, where workers were loading goods onto a truck. As she passed in front of the truck, the driver hit the gas and the next moment, the elderly lady was under the vehicle. After the truck passed over her, she got up with only a few scratches.
