A 17-year-old burglary suspect tried to escape his home during an arrest but got nowhere.
According to WHEC-TV, Nicholas Hinchman tried jumping out the window to escape police in Gates, New York.
However, an officer was waiting outside.
Police said they went to serve a warrant for Hinchman’s arrest. He ran into the bathroom and locked himself in. When officers tried to force their way into the bathroom, police said that he jumped out the window and broke it in the process.
He was arrested and taken to Monroe County Jail on bail.
A police body camera captured the arrest.
