There are not many who are willing to step up to Stephen Curry in a three-point shootout.
Omri Cassipi took that challenge tonight.
With three minutes left in the 2nd quarter of Monday’s contest between the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings, it rained threes in Oracle Arena, with Curry and Cassipi trading threes back and forth.
When the dust cleared, Stephen Curry had scored 17 points in just over three minutes, including five three-pointers. Cassipi scored 12 points with four threes of his own.
Ultimatly, the Warriors ran away in the 2nd half and took this one 122-103. Cassipi finished with a career-high 36 points, including nine threes. For the Warriors, Curry finished with 23 points and six threes, while Klay Thompson and Draymond Green each added five three-pointers of their own.
