A plane flying out of Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., was evacuated on Sunday following suspicious activity.

FOX-5 in Washington reported the plane was heading to Boston.

The crew reported suspicious activity from two passengers.

All passengers were evacuated from the plane. A K-9 police team swept through the aircraft.

The team didn’t experience any abnormalities and the plane will depart to Boston soon.

WUSA-9 reported that authorities found nothing on American Airlines flight 2124. It said the two passengers were questioned by authorities and then released. They did not get back on the plane to Boston, but they will be re-accommodated on another flight.
