This time it was Warriors who go the Shark treatment in the CIHL League at Mega Ice on Saturday Nov 10.

The game was not particularly one-sided in the first two periods, although the South China Sharks moved into a 4-1 lead with goals from Jordon So (2) and one each by Julien Jorand and Justin Cheng.

By the third period the Kowloon Warriors were really struggling and conceded six more goals with Jordan So completing his hat-trick, Julien Jorand, Justin Cheng and Keith Tsang finished with two goals each and Anthony Devolz made the score reach double figures with a 10-3 result.

Michael Yoshino, Greg Smyth and Devin Welsh scored for the Warriors.

Macau Aces against Hong Kong Tycoons

In contrast to the earlier game, it was a competitive and very close game between the Aces and the Tycoons.

David Kaye opened the scoring for the Aces just 27 seconds into the match.

Don Ho and Tip Fleming moved the Tycoons into the lead in the second period, but Tyler Doherty brought the game onto level terms with a goal for the Aces just half a minute from the end of the second period.

Doherty and Sean Tyrrell scored for the Aces in the third period to give them a 4-2 cushion, but a goal by Andrew Alari left the Tycoons with a real chance to equalise in the dying minute. But Aces goal keeper Korbinian Lutz kept the Tycoons at bay to win the match 4-3.

This win takes the Aces onto four points and moves them into second place in the standings.
