Two video previews are out for The Walking Dead season 5, episode 7.

In the episode, titled “Crossed,” Daryl and Noah arrive back at the church and tell Rick and the rest of the group about Beth and Carol’s situation.

Rick almost immediately agrees to take part of the group and attempt a rescue. “We have to go in quiet and get this done quickly,” he says.

Rick opts to leave Carl and Michonne with Father Gabriel and baby Judith.

That means Rick, Daryl, and Noah are joined by Tyreese and Sasha to form the rescue group.

The first video preview aired after episode 6 and isn’t available online yet. It also showed Beth standing over an unconscious Carol in the hospital and holding her hand.

The second video preview, released by AMC, shows the part of the group that remains behind at the church.

Father Gabriel is on the floor cleaning the floor near some of the weapons; Michonne is on a nearby pew with the baby, while Carl is speaking to the pastor.

“You need to learn how to defend yourself. We can teach you,” Carl tells Father Gabriel.

“Defend myself? They said they’d go,” the pastor says, referring to Gareth’s group.

“They were liars and murderers,” Carl said.

“Just like us,” asserted Gabriel.

“We protected ourselves. They wanted us dead,” Carl responds.

“You’re lucky your church has lasted this long. You can’t stay in one place anymore. Not for too long.”
