Mexico’s Colima volcano spewed a giant two-mile-high column of ash that rained down on a nearby city, authorities said. No damage or injuries were reported in the city of Ciudad Guzman of about 100,000 people, the state civil protection said. The 3,860-meter (2,398 miles) mountain, also known as the Volcano of Fire, is among the most active in the country, if not the continent.
