Vivica A. Fox, the 46-year-old actress who starred in Kill Bill and Independence Day, is engaged to Atlanta club promoter Omar “Slim” White.
White, 27, gave an eight-karat diamond ring to Fox over the holidays, according to People magazine.
“We did get engaged on Dec. 26,” Fox told People. “And we are very happy.”
Fox and White, who have been together for over a year, stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach Hotel in Miami over the holidays.
The couple appeared at NBA superstar LeBron James's birthday party. "She arrived in a black SUV with Slim and was showing off her ring to everyone," one guest told E! Online.
The actress is also known for her roles in movies Set It Off, Soul Food, and Why Do Fools Fall In Love.
The upcoming marriage would be Fox’s second. She was married to Christopher Harvest from 1998 to 2002.
