Virgin Atlantic Flight VS43 Has Landing Problems, Returning to London’s Gatwick Airport from Las Vegas

Virgin Atlantic Flight VS43 is having technical problems and is being forced to land at Gatwick Airport in London. 

UPDATE at 10:55 a.m. ET: The plane has landed safely without incident at London’s Gatwick Airport, according to the airline.

The plane was heading to Las Vegas from London, reported Sky News on Twitter.

It was having a “technical issue with one of the landing gears,” noted Sky.

Virgin described it as a “non-standard landing procedure.”
