President Donald Trump reiterated his support for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh at a rally in Wheeling, West Virginia, as he lambasted Democrats over their conduct during the recent confirmation hearings and urged his supporters to vote.

Speaking at the WesBanco Arena on Sept. 29, Trump touted the “booming” economy again as he strolled on the stage to John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” He then turned his attention to the Democrat party.

He said the whole country has now seen the “shameless conduct” by the Democrats as the crowd booed loudly in agreement.

“They are willing to throw away every standard of decency, justice, fairness, and due process to get their way. They don’t care how they get it. You see it happening before your eyes,” he said.

“And they’re determined to take back power by any means necessary. You see the meanness, the nastiness. They don’t care who they hurt, who they have to run over to get power.”

White House: FBI Has Free Reign in Kavanaugh Probe

Contrary to multiple media reports, the Trump administration has not placed restraints on the FBI’s investigation of the accusations against Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh, according to two White House spokeswomen and President Donald Trump.

“The White House is not micromanaging this process,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said in an interview with “Fox News Sunday.”

“The Senate is dictating the terms. They laid out the request and we’ve opened it up. As you hear the president say, ‘do what you need to do.’ The FBI, this is what they do and we’re out of the way to let them do exactly that.”

Trump ordered the FBI to open a supplementary investigation into the claims by Kavanaugh’s accusers after at least three swing-vote Senators indicated that they will not confirm the judge unless a week-long investigation is conducted by the bureau. Republican Sen. Jeff Flake was the first to make that demand shortly before he voted to advance Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Senate.

First-Grader Becomes Police Officer

A new officer is patrolling the halls at an Alabama elementary school.

And this one is just 6 years old.

Braylon Hensen can’t go outside for recess because he may overheat.

He was born without sweat glands.

“I noticed his classmates were out there playing, and he was in here by himself so I let him come walk with me to help him out because he felt left out,” said school resource officer Ron Saladin.

Now Braylon has a whole new role at school.

“Definitely a blessing, like it was meant to be,” added Saladin.

This Dog’s Ice Skills Will Give You Pause

He’s a shelter dog who was set to be put down before a woman adopted him and introduced him to the usually non-canine friendly pursuit of ice skating.

Las Vegas resident Cheryl Del Sangro saw a photo of Benny, a Labrador retriever, soon after he was rescued from a kill shelter and knew he was meant to be hers. She filled out the necessary paperwork and brought him home, where she already had three dogs to bond with him.

Del Sangro learned that Benny was a very teachable animal and decided to try him out on the ice. She had, after all, taught ice skating for over 20 years and somehow thought Benny would make a good student. Outfitting him with a pair of ‘custom made’ skates for his paws, Del Sangro soon had her four legged friend gracefully gliding along the ice.

As the now 6-year-old Benny has gone to wearing skates only on his front paws, he has improved so much that Del Sangro has now set her sights on convincing the local NHL franchise, the Vegas Golden Knights, to take him on as a mascot, filming a video to show off his skills.
