President Donald Trump is standing by his nominee for the Supreme Court, calling the accusations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh “totally political,” hours after The New Yorker magazine published a largely unsubstantiated claim by a second accuser.

“Judge Kavanaugh is an outstanding person. I am with him all the way,” Trump said on Sept. 24, after arriving in New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly.

“For people to come out of the woodwork from 36 years ago, and 30 years ago and never mention it—all of a sudden, it happens,” Trump said. “In my opinion, it’s totally political. It’s totally political.”

Chris Pratt Feels It’s an ‘Important Time’ to Talk About God

Actor and star of “Jurassic World” and “Guardians of the Galaxy,” Chris Pratt, recently shared about his faith in God and how he feels like it’s “and important time” to talk about it.

Pratt was interviewed in August in Los Angeles, after a promotional appearance for the Michelob Ultra beer.

“It is the time that it is,” said Pratt. “I don’t know that I am so much more motivated by necessarily where the world is or if it’s just what I’m feeling called to do right now. I think it’s a combination of both things and, you know, it feels like an important time for that.”

School Bus Driver, 27, Arrested for Allowing Children to Drive

A 27-year-old bus driver in Indiana was arrested for allegedly allowing students to drive a school bus, which was captured on video this week.

Joandrea Dehaven McAtee was arrested on Sept. 21, and charged with felony neglect of a dependent, ABC News reported, adding that a person can be charged with the crime if a decision “places the dependent in a situation that endangers the dependent’s life or health.”

McAtee allegedly allowed an 11-year-old, a 13-year-old, and a 17-year-old student to drive the bus for a short period of time in Valparaiso, Indiana. Other students appeared to have recorded the incident.

NTD Classical Chinese Dance Competition

The 8th International Classical Chinese Dance Competition, hosted by New Tang Dynasty (NTD), attracted over 190 dancers from more than ten different countries and regions to participate in this year’s competition. After going through screening in the North American Division and the Asia Pacific Division, approximately 60 dancers stood out and came to Manhattan, New York, for the finals.

Vina Lee, the judge of the competition, said that although these dancers are so young, they are pure and very rare to find.

Watch: Lanterns Flood the Night Sky in Taiwan

Locals and foreign visitors gathered to celebrate the mid-autumn festival in Pingxi, Taiwan, on Sept. 24, releasing hundreds of flying lanterns that lit up the night sky.

The mountainous village has a long history of releasing flying lanterns, which were first used as a means of communication between villagers and later were sent as wishes for the coming year.

This year marks the twentieth anniversary of the sky lantern festival.
