President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, pleaded guilty to lying to Congress on Nov. 29.

He pleaded to one count of making false statements to Congress as part of a plea deal with special counsel Robert Mueller.

Cohen said during the hearing he lied when he said the possibility of a Trump Organization real estate project in Moscow ended in January 2016.

He claimed he discussed the project later with Trump.

Trump told reporters on Nov. 29 that  Cohen “a weak person and not a very smart person.” The president said it was legal to operate a business while running for president. Trump added that the Moscow project was a public deal which he opted to cancel so he could focus on the presidential campaign.

“What he’s trying to do is very simple, he’s got himself a big prison sentence and he’s trying to get a much lesser prison sentence by making up a story,” Trump said.

Mexico Deports 100 ‘Violent’ Migrants After Border Rush

Mexican authorities said that 100 violent migrants have been deported after they rushed the U.S. border.

No one has been seriously injured besides a few “unfortunate incidents,” Mexican Interior Minister Alfonso Navarrete said on Nov. 28 in a broadcast from a government event, reported Reuters.

“There was one man who climbed on top of a trailer on a highway, he lost his balance and he fell off. Another, a migrant of Central American nationality, was run over. But no children, no women, no pregnant women, no elderly, no youth, not even the violent group [of migrants] have been seriously hurt,” he said.

The migrants were arrested on Nov. 25, and hurled projectiles at American officers.

They were placed on buses to their home countries on Wednesday.

Most are from Honduras.
