First Lady Melania Trump visited the Red Cross on Nov. 27, to help assemble comfort kits for American troops deployed overseas.
Trump and Second Lady Karen Pence, along with wives of some cabinet secretaries, visited the organization’s headquarters in Washington.
Trump spoke at the headquarters, telling the crowd after receiving a standing ovation that volunteering for the Red Cross was a “sincere opportunity for us to honor and thank our troops.”
“These comfort kits are one small way we can say thank you,” she said.

The new rules include limiting reporters to one question each.
Acosta asked three questions of Sanders and continued to take stances that relied on unconfirmed reports.
‘SpongeBob Squarepants’ Creator Stephen Hillenburg Dies at 57
Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of the Nickelodeon cartoon series “SpongeBob SquarePants,” died on Nov. 26. He was 57.Hillenburg’s cause of death was amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, according to reports. In March 2017, he announced his diagnosis.

A gigantic steer that some consider the largest in Australia has become a viral sensation.
The cow is named “Knickers” and stands at 76 inches at the shoulder, towering over other cows, its owner said, adding that the cow almost as tall as Michael Jordan. It weighs about 3,086 pounds and lives on a farm in Myalup, located 85 miles south of Perth, Australia.
Knickers is a Holstein-Friesian, a dairy breed known for being quite tall, according to an industry website about the animals. “Holsteins are most quickly recognized by their distinctive color markings and outstanding milk production. Holsteins are large cattle with color patterns of black and white or red and white,” it says.
