More than 75 women have come to the defense of Judge Brett Kavanaugh on Sept. 21, in light of allegations of sexual assault against him by a professor in California.

The group of dozens of women took to the stage at a Washington, D.C. hotel to support Kavanaugh, who is being nominated for the Supreme Court.

“We know the man, we know his heart and we have known him over every aspect of his life,” said Sara Fagen, who worked with him in the White House for former President George W. Bush.

Carrie Underwood Cries During Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony

Carrie Underwood became emotional while receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The successful country singer choked up while acknowledging her success and the people in her life.

“I’ve been so blessed in my life to have so many people that have ... Crap. I’m crying ... so many people who have believed in me. I’m so blessed to be born into a family who are here today—my mom is crying too, yeah—and not only just were they an incredible family but they were incredibly encouraging.”

Her powerful singing voice turned thin and high-pitched while she spoke at the ceremony. Underwood was accompanied by her husband, retired pro hockey player Mike Fisher, and their son, Isaiah Michael Fisher.

Daughter of Legendary Soul Singer James Brown Dies

A daughter of the late Godfather of Soul James Brown has died.

According to a news release from the James Brown Family Foundation, Venisha Brown died on Sept. 19, at AU Health Medical Center in Augusta due to complications from pneumonia. She was 53 years old.

Gang of Puppies Steals the Show at Chilean Military Parade

It was the tiniest of Chile’s soldiers and police officers that stole the show at Chile’s annual military parade on Sept. 19 when a group of nine golden retriever puppies was paraded alongside their fully-grown brethren, both human and dog.

The 45-day-old puppies are the newest members of the national police’s canine training unit.

The puppies were carried in the arms of trainers who kept them warm with heaters and special yellow carriers.

The puppies marched along with other dogs from the canine unit and members of Chile’s armed forces as well as soldiers from several countries who were invited to march in the annual parade at Santiago’s O'Higgins Park.

Lizhnyk are blankets made from sheep wool.

There is a loom in almost every home in Yavoriv village.

“Lizhnyk is everything for me, it is my entire life,” says craftswoman Hanna Kopilchuk.
