Video: Woman Accidentally Drives SUV Off Fourth Floor Parking Garage

Lindsay Taylor Cook, landed upside down in the car, and escaped with minor injuries, according to police.

A 23-year-old motorist accidentally drove off the fourth floor of a parking garage in Towson, Maryland—and survived.

The woman, identified as Lindsay Taylor Cook, crashed into the concrete floor in her vehicle on March 14, just before 9 a.m.

She was trying to pull into a parking space.

Surveillance footage released by Baltimore County police showed Cook landing upside down in the car—car hits the ground at 0:17 (in video above).

She escaped with minor injuries, according to police.

“Cook was pulling into a parking space on the fourth floor of a parking garage when her vehicle, an Audi Q5 SUV, went forward, crashed through the concrete barrier, and fell to the sidewalk below.

“She was not seriously injured during the crash,” police said in a statement on March 24.

Cook was taken to a hospital to treat her minor wounds.

An investigation is ongoing.
