Described as the “opposite of a grenade,” a video that’s gone viral again shows a throwable fire extinguisher.
The item in the video is a SAT119, made by BONEX.
“Bonex has developed and launched a series of throw-type fire extinguishers in fighting initial fires. SAT119 is a patented product suitable for Class A fire (combustibles such as papers, wood and plastics etc),” the Singapore-based company says.
The SAT119 is designed to take on small, contained fires.
“It is not intended for use on an out-of-control fire, such as one which has reached the ceiling,” the site reads.
