Officials in Pasco County, Florida, are searching for a man who they say tried to run over a deputy.

The Pasco Sheriff’s Office posted a deputy’s body camera footage on Aug. 29, showing the driver leaving Desire Gentleman’s Club in Holiday, Florida, on Aug. 26.

The driver then closes the door of the white Kia Optima sedan and then tries to drive into the deputy in the club parking lot, while the deputy urges him to stop. “Hey, don’t do it,” the deputy says in the video as the driver is moving forward.

“The car he was driving is a 2017 white Kia Optima, which is stolen,” said the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

The deputy first tried to speak to the man before he drove into the deputy.

“How’s it going, brother?” asks the deputy to the driver, whose door is open. The man then said that he is just getting out of the car, but the video shows the man closing the door.

“He just tried to run me over,” the deputy then says in the video.

Anyone who can identify the suspect is asked to call the Pasco Sheriff’s Office Crime Tips Line at 1-800-706-4488, reference case #18-34006.

According to ABC Action News, the deputy wasn’t injured.

The deputy was not identified, and the suspect is still at large.

Other details about the incident were not revealed.
