Video: Man Fires Shots at Car, Hitting 7-Year-Old Girl

A 23-year-old man is accused of firing shots near a business in Las Vegas, injuring a 7-year-old girl, according to reports.

Las Vegas Now reported that Curtis Truman was captured on surveillance cameras firing several shots toward a vehicle.
Truman was in an argument with another man before he pulled out a handgun and opened fire, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said on Sept. 15, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Police said that a man started backing his car out of the parking spot, he got into an argument with two men who were standing behind the vehicle, according to the report.

Truman is suspect of firing three shots into the car.

The 7-year-old girl struck by one of the bullets was hospitalized at Sunrise Pediatrics, and the Review-Journal said the injuries appear to be nonlife-threatening.

“One of the suspects pulled out a handgun and fired several rounds at the victim’s vehicle, one of which struck the 7-year-old child who was sitting in the back seat. The suspects ran from the area and the victim parked nearby to wait for police and medical personnel,” according to Las Vegas police.

Reports indicated that Truman has not yet been arrested by police. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and black pants. Police also said he is a black male, around 160 pounds, and stands 6 feet tall. The second suspect in the video is a black male with a thin build and is 5’9”. He was seen wearing a black shirt and khaki shorts.

Other details about the incident are not clear.
