Count James Corden as a member of the Beyhive.

James Corden parodied Beyonce’s HBO Special “Lemonade” with his own version titled, “Lemonjames” on his late eponymous talk show on April 25.

In a braided wig and fur coat as worn by Beyonce, Corden captures a similar ambience with ominous music and setting of the hitmaker visual album. As did Beyonce, he asks “Do you guys see this? Do you guys see me?”

He then appears in a bathtub where he reveals the struggles in writing a monologue each night.

“I don’t want to do another Trump joke. I’ve exhausted that topic,” he said. “I’ve talked about his hair, his baby hands—doing Trump jokes makes me feel dirty.”

As the mini-film continues, Corden adds his own twist to Beyonce’s controversial lyric, “Becky with the good hair.” He interchanges Becky with Jimmy, referencing his late night talk show colleagues, “Jimmy with the good hair.”

Dressed in a lingerie set, he makes an overly-sweet lemonade, then wants to purchase one instead. As the clip ends Beyonce’s “Hold Up” plays and Corden, donning a blond wig and yellow robe, smashes TV screens and a camera with a baseball bat.
