A Florida woman posted a video showing what appears to be a doctor cursing and yelling at a woman after she complained of a long wait line.

Jessica Stipe posted a smartphone video on her Facebook page, writing that she was “severely sick” and went to the Gainesville After Hours clinic for a check-up. She made an appointment at 6:30 p.m., but by 7:45 p.m., she had not yet seen a doctor.

She was in “severe pain and throwing up in a trash can,” she wrote.

“All they had me do was pee in a cup to see if I’m pregnant ... ummm I know I’m not,” she wrote. “I asked for my co pay back so I could leave and go back home to bed and try to be seen elsewhere tomorrow because I’m just miserable that all I want is my bed.”

Then, a doctor got angry at her when she asked for her money back. “My daughter recorded it because they were so rude. When he saw it was being recorded he snatched my baby’s phone and shoved her when she tried to get it back,” she wrote.

Stipe is seen telling the doctor that they should tell people with appointments that they won’t be seen in a “timely manner.”

“Are you kidding me? Do you know how many people ... I got seven rooms back there,” the physician yells at her.

Then, when she says that she wants to leave, the doctor tells her to “get the hell out.”

“Get the [expletive] out of my office,” he shouts.

The physician, Dr. Peter Gallogly, released a statement.

“Ms. Stipe had been increasingly belligerent and abusive to the office staff, cursing and threatening them with violence, because she was unwell and had been waiting to see me for more than an hour,” he said in the statement, adding that she got a refund but refused to leave, CBS4 reported.

He added: “I went to the front desk only because after Ms. Stipe received her refund, she refused to leave the office, and continued her abusive behavior towards staff. Despite repeated requests from the office staff, she repeatedly demanded to see me instead of leaving.”

The video, he said, was heavily edited and taken out of context.

“When I walked into the waiting room, Ms. Stipe (and her daughter) cursed and threatened me as they had done with the office staff previously,” he wrote.

Stipe then told CBS4 that the doctor’s statements are “absolutely not true.”

“What you saw is what it was,” Stipe added. “This is just ridiculous.”

“At the very end of the events, I most regrettably lost my temper, and spoke to the two women in a most unprofessional manner. I make no excuses for my unacceptable behavior,” Gallogly wrote.
