Two Kansas City police officers were praised for saving a deer trapped in a thunderstorm.
The deer was trying to jump over a concrete barrier but couldn’t.
That’s when cops came in.
“She had nothing left. She trusted me. I walked over to her and said, ‘OK, let’s go,’ and I walked her just as if she were my dog,” Sergeant Steven Sandusky told KMBC (a video of their rescue can be seen below).
The deer, which was completely exhausted, eventually surrendered to the officers.
