Some 800 soldiers and veterans met with representatives from 60 potential employers at the event, sponsored by the Army Career and Alumni Program and Army Community Service.
After leaving the military, veterans between the ages of 18-24 have one of the highest unemployment rates in the country, at 21.1 percent last year, according to the Labor Department.
