Venus Williams has made it into the quarterfinals of the 2014 Rogers Cup in Montreal, and will face Carla Suarez Navarro on Friday.

The pair will face off starting at 2 p.m.

The match is slated to be broadcast on ESPN in the United States and BT Sport in the United Kingdom.

Live streaming will be available via Watch ESPN, BT Sport, and WTA.

Williams of America, unranked in the tournament, took out No. 6 seed Angelique Kerber in the third round, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.

Navarro of Spain, ranked No. 14, took out Maria Sharapova in the third round, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2.

Williams and Navarro have only played three times before. Navarro won the first match between the two at the 2009 Australian Open in three sets, while Williams exacted revenge at Wimbledon later that year in only two sets.

Navarro beat Williams this year at the Rome Open in two sets.

Serena Williams is playing in another of the quarterfinal matches, against Caroline Wozniacki.

Fellow American CoCo Vangeweghe has also made it to the quarterfinals, as have top seeds Victoria Azarenka and Agnieszka Radwanska.

Eugenie Bouchard, the surging Canadian player, got knocked out in qualifying, stunning the home crowd.
