Police in Austin, Texas, said that a car has been left dangling from a multistory parking garage in downtown Dallas.
On social media, users posted images of the vehicle—which appears to be a gray or silver sedan—hanging precariously about 20 feet above ground, CBS affiliate KEYE in Austin reported.
The Austin Police Department said the incident took place at 2:40 p.m. local time. Apparently, the driver drove the vehicle off the edge of the garage and it was caught by wires, local media outlets reported.
According to KEYE, a small amount of gas is leaking out of the vehicle.
“The driver was still in the driver seat when I came outside,” said witness Andrew Miller, according to KXAN-TV. “It looked pretty dangerous even though it wasn’t swinging.”
The Austin Fire Department showed workers working to maneuver the car.

The department said the driver managed to exit the vehicle via its sunroof and made “his way safely back into the garage.” A video posted to YouTube seemingly confirmed it.
