Vatican Embassy in Damascus, Syria Hit by Mortar Shell: Reports

The Vatican embassy in Damscus, Syria was hit by a mortar shell on Tuesday. 

A diplomat confirmed to Al Arabiya that the round hit the embassy.

Preliminary reports indicate that there weren’t any casualties.

The extent of the damage isn’t yet clear.

The embassy is at Place Ma'raket Ajnadin 1, Malki.
