Vampire Diaries Season 6 Schedule: Air Date, Time for Next Episode on CW

November 27, 2014 Updated: July 18, 2015

The Vampire Diaries season 6 is taking a brief break but will be back soon.

All the regular Thursday night shows on The CW are not airing on November 27 because of Thanksgiving.

But they’ll be back on Thursday, December 4.

For Vampire Diaries, that will be episode 9, titled “I Alone.” Some insight into the upcoming episode has been coming out, including that “Damon finds himself in hot water after he carries out a plan that requires Alaric’s unwilling participation.”

That likely refers to Damon’s trying to steal the ascendant from Alaric’s girlfriend Jo.

The official description also says that Elena will be “caught off guard” by Jeremy’s reaction to the news that Bonnie is still alive and kicking. Liv will help Elena try to save Bonnie, but “when things take an unexpected turn, she’s left with a difficult choice to make.”

Also, Enzo’s actions “cross the line” and Matt “takes matters into his own hands.”

TVLine obtained some more spoilers, answering a question from a fan about “Bamon.”

“Let’s just say you’re not crazy for seeing a strong connection between Bonnie and Damon, Renee. Despite Elena expressing a ‘glimmer’ of hope for a romantic reunion, Damon is still focused on the mission at hand: Bring back Bonnie,” it said.

“And Ian Somerhalder, for one, wouldn’t be surprised if things turn spicy once the Bennett witch returns. ‘There’s an extraordinarily thin line between love and hate,’ Somerhalder notes. ‘Due to the fact that these two hated each other, and had so many connections … it only seemed appropriate that they would be given a chance, due to the dynamics of their relationship.'”
