The Vampire Diaries season 6 will premiere soon, and there are new predictions about who will die.

As with every season, people will die. It’s just trying to figure out which characters will make it through and which won’t.

Wetpaint has released its predictions, saying that there’s no guarantee that both Damon and Bonnie will make it back from wherever they are, and saying that it’s most likely that if one dies it will be Bonnie.

The blog also nots that executive producer Julie Plec said last year that most new characters are created to die, with some excepts such as Enzo.

“We’re guessing that about 87 percent of Season 6’s new characters won’t make it to Season 7. Sorry: Tripp, Sarah,Ivy, Jo, Liam, and anyone else we may have forgotten,” it said.

In addition, Tyler seems to be in danger because he’s mortal now.

Meanwhile, the show has a new trailer that gives more insight into the new season.

Among the scenes are Caroline and Alaric getting friendly at the Mystic Grill, and Stefan with a new woman.

“From the brief glimpse of mystery girl in the trailer, we can safely assume that it’s Emily C. Chang, who has been cast in the role of Ivy. She’s described to be sweet and sincere but with a twist – ‘the quintessential girl next door with an unexpected wild side,'” notes Hypable. “The real question is: will Ivy survive the season or just be a throwaway romance for Stefan?”

The trailer also includes Caroline yelling at Elena for feeding on people, and Jeremy drinking over the loss of his girlfriend.

Vampire Diaries season 6 will premiere on October 2.
