Valeria Lukyanova, who has been described as a “Human Barbie,” is claiming that she wants to only live off air and light. The 28-year-old Ukrainian woman says she hasn’t eaten in weeks.

“In recent weeks I haven’t been hungry at all,” Lukyanova said, according to the International Business Times. “I’m hoping it’s the final stage.”

Lukyanova said that “I can subsist on air and light alone.”

She has become an advocate for the controversial practice of “Breatharianism,” which has been criticized for the alleged starvation deaths of people who have attempted it.

The Ukrainian model also said that she’s from outer space and can speak with extraterrestrial beings.

Months ago, she was the subject of a Vice documentary called “Space Barbie,” which delved into her lifestyle.

“If a nun starts talking about spirituality, will anyone notice her? No, No one will,” she told the Daily Beast months ago.

“But if a beautiful, inspiring young woman starts talking about it, many people will start thinking. So I use my appearance to promote my spiritual ideas. It works perfectly.”

Lukyanova also recently admitted that she’s gotten plastic surgery to look the way she does, according to the IB Times. However, Lukyanova said she never was trying to look like a doll.

“It’s wonderful to look like a doll,” she also told the Daily Beast. “Even though people call me a Barbie, I never tried to look like a doll. I just like everything beautiful, feminine, and refined. It just so happens that dolls are based on the image of refined girls.”
