A man was subdued by police and Tased when he drove his truck onto the Utah State Captiol steps in Salt Lake City, according to reports.
Paul Murphy, the Utah Attorney General’s Director of Communications, posted images on Twitter, showing the man’s truck.
“The tazed man arrived in this truck and parked next to the west entrance of the #Utah Capitol,” he wrote.
He later wrote that the man was loaded into an ambulance afterwards.
“[M]an drives up to Capitol building and has to be tased after outburst,” Ryan Bruckman, Deputy Communications Director at Utah Attorney General’s Office, wrote on Twitter.
Fox-13 reported that state officers used a stun gun on the man.
On Twitter, a witness wrote: “I’m not certain. From our office you could only hear someone being loud and the sound of a taser being fired.”
