Usain Bolt out: Six time Olympic champion Usain Bolt of Jamaica will not run in this year’s Jamaica International Invitational.

Bolt, one of the fastest runners in the world, “felt tightness” after a slight hamstring strain, according to an announcement on his website.

“I am disappointed to miss the Kingston meet as I love running in front of my home crowd in Jamaica. I’m told it is only a Grade 1 strain so hopefully I will be OK soon”, said Bolt.

Bolt hopes to recover in time for the Cayman Invitational on May 8.
