ORANGE, Calif.—Coroner’s officials have released the name of a 38-year-old woman who was killed when the car in which she was following her boyfriend collided with his vehicle after what police called a “domestic altercation.”

The woman was identified as Didiana Lomeli of Anaheim, according to the Orange County coroner’s office.

The fight occurred at about 5:45 a.m. on May 7 at the couple’s Anaheim home, according to an Orange Police Department press release. The man left the residence in a sedan headed westbound on Santa Ana Canyon Road and Lomeli pursued in a separate sedan, police said.

The two cars collided on Santa Ana Canyon Road near Orange Olive Road in Orange, police said. Her car rolled over and she was ejected.

Lomeli was pronounced dead at the scene, while the man had minor injuries, according to police.

Neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be a factor in the crash, police said.

The Orange Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team and detectives were continuing to investigate the crash.

Anyone with information about the case was asked to call the department at 714-744-7444.
