LAKE FOREST, Calif.—A 32-year-old Lake Forest woman allegedly stabbed her mother to death in their home on March 1, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said.

The victim’s husband called authorities to the 22000 block of Bellcroft Drive at about 1:50 a.m. Wednesday, according to spokeswoman Carrie Braun of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was in her 70s and was pronounced dead at the scene, Braun said.

Courtney Baker was arrested on suspicion of fatally stabbing her mother, Braun said.
