The White House will reopen for public tours beginning in December with an updated path through the historic residence and Christmas displays to celebrate the holiday season, the White House announced on Oct. 31. The tours stopped in August ahead of the construction of a new State Ballroom.

The tours will begin on Dec. 2, when visitors will be able to once again explore the house via a new route that offers guests “the opportunity to experience the history and beauty of the People’s House.”
