US, UK Carry Out New Strikes Against Houthis in Yemen

Targets were underground weapons storage facilities, missile systems and launchers, air defense systems, and radars, Pentagon says.

The United States and its allies on Feb. 3 carried out a new series of attacks on Houthi rebels in Yemen.

The strikes, the latest in a series of joint strikes carried out in the region, come at a time of escalating tensions in the Middle East. Tensions have been especially high since Oct. 7, 2023, when an attack carried out by Hamas against Israel reignited anti-Israel sentiments across the region.
