The University of California–Irvine (UCI) is holding a series of blood drives to help offset an “unprecedented” nationwide blood shortage.

The American Red Cross announced last year a severe blood shortage due to the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus pandemic and resulting blood drive cancellations.
