Two Horses Injured, One Fatally, in Same Race at Los Alamitos

CYPRESS, Calif.—One of two horses vanned off with injuries in the same race at Los Alamitos has died Nov. 28, state officials confirmed.

Conchita, a 2-year-old filly with four starts and one first-place finish, fell during Sunday’s seventh race, which also included an unspecified injury to Not This World, another 2-year-old filly.
