U.S. airport security agents screened 3.13 million passengers on Sunday, the highest number ever recorded by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the agency said.
Part of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, the busy day full of returning travelers set a record despite winter storms in the Midwest.
