NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced on Feb 4 that TrumpRx will launch in two weeks, connecting people with the lowest prescription prices in America.
“Whatever the lowest price they’re selling anywhere in the world, we will get that price or lower,” Kennedy said during his “Take Back Your Health” tour stop in Nashville.
In his speech at the Tennessee State Capitol, Kennedy did not specify the exact date for the TrumpRx website launch.
The Epoch Times contacted the Trump administration for details but did not receive a response by publication time.
Kennedy confirmed the GLP-1 drug prices will drop exponentially for Americans who use the TrumpRx platforms.
“We’re going to see a tremendous impact and tremendous savings [to] the American consumer,” he said.
The Trump administration will use what’s called most-favored-nation drug pricing, which aims to align drug costs globally in developed nations.
“The same injection that is made in a factory in New Jersey is sold in this country for $1,300, that’s the list price, [but] in England you can buy it at a pharmacy for $88,” Kennedy said on Wednesday.
But the price for a month of medication, such a single pen of Ozempic, can cost nearly as much as the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment in the United States.
“We’re paying 15 times what they’re paying and it’s virtually true for all of our pharmaceuticals,” Kennedy said.

During Wednesday’s event, Kennedy mentioned that his agency is working on artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives that will be used to help diagnose diseases and also spot healthcare fraud and abuse.
“We’re going to save billions of dollars this year” using the technology, the HHS Secretary announced.
Kennedy expressed hope that the AI initiatives will be used on both the federal and state levels.
