President Donald Trump on Nov. 14 withdrew the nomination of Donald L. Korb, a veteran tax attorney, to serve as the top lawyer for the IRS.

“Please be advised that I am withdrawing the nomination of Donald Korb to be Assistant General Counsel in the Department of the Treasury,” Trump wrote in a social media post, not elaborating on why he was pulling the nomination.
