President Donald Trump is set to convene a Cabinet meeting on July 31 at Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland, according to his schedule.

This followed Trump’s announcement that the Board of Peace had reached a deal to disarm the Hamas terrorist group in Gaza, with Israeli forces set to withdraw after the disarmament.
The last Cabinet meeting was held in May amid renewed hostilities between the United States and Iran. The meeting was moved from Camp David to the White House due to severe weather at the time.
The upcoming meeting also comes after the Senate on July 30 rejected a resolution that would have required the president to end military action against Iran unless authorized by Congress. The vote marked the 13th time the Senate has voted on a resolution to end the war in Iran.
