President Donald Trump announced on Sept. 20 that he will award Dr. Ben Carson the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor in the United States.
Trump made the announcement during the American Cornerstone Institute Founder’s Dinner. The organization was founded by Carson.
