President Donald Trump signed an executive order on March 20 to boost the mining and production of critical minerals in the United States, including uranium, copper, potash, and gold.

The order gives each federal department head involved in permitting U.S. mineral production 10 days to provide the National Energy Dominance Council chair a list of all mineral production projects for which a “plan of operations, a permit application, or other application for approval has been submitted to such agency.”
