President Donald Trump said on Nov. 30 that he is willing to release the MRI test results he received in October, after Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz raised questions about his health.
Trump answered, “So, if they want to release it, it’s okay with me to release it.”
The president said his test results were “perfect,” but noted that he had “no idea” which part of his body was scanned during the MRI test he underwent at Walter Reed Medical Center.
“It was just an MRI,” Trump said. “It wasn’t the brain because I took a cognitive test and I aced it. I got a perfect mark, which you would be incapable of doing.”
“I think what’s most concerning about this is, as your viewers out there are listening, has anyone in the history of the world ever had an MRI assigned to them and have no idea what it was for, as he says? So, look, it’s clear the president’s fading physically,” Walz told the news outlet.
“I think the mental capacity, again, ranting, you know, crazily at midnight on Thanksgiving about everything else, there are reasons for us to be concerned.”
Barbabella said the 79-year-old president’s cardiac age is “approximately 14 years younger than his chronological age” and that he could continue to carry out his demanding daily schedule without restriction.
His medical evaluation involved advanced imaging, laboratory testing, and preventive health assessments designed to ensure the president’s optimal cardiovascular health.
Trump’s health has drawn increased scrutiny after pictures emerged earlier this year showing the president with swollen ankles and bruising on his hands.
