WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump on Feb. 21 said he was open to multiple budget bills to fund his policy initiatives after earlier this week endorsing a one-bill approach adopted by the House Republicans.
His remarks came hours after Senate Republicans passed a budget blueprint that calls for two bills to implement Trump’s agenda. The Senate version has been cast as a backup plan in case House Republicans are unable to pass their bill.
